Encolapta shenae (Li et Zheng, 1998)

Type material. CHINA: Holotype Ƌ, Mt. Zhenzhu, Wuyuan, Jiangxi Province, 25.vi.1989, leg. Guangpu Shen, genitalia slide no. L94339.
Diagnosis. Adult (Fig. 29) with wingspan 11.0 mm. This species is superficially similar to E. catarina (Ponomarenko, 1994), and the differences between them are stated under the latter species. The male genitalia of E. shenae resemble those of E. subtegulifera (Ponomarenko, 1994). Encolapta shenae can be separated by the straight valvella and the corniform juxta (Fig. 43); in E. subtegulifera, the valvella is curved outward and the juxta is trapezoidal (Fig. 41).
Distribution. China (Jiangxi).
