Original description. Schönborn 1965, P. 322–323, Fig. 5.
Description. Shell bowl-shaped, with width exceeding length, transparent. Shell surface slightly corrugated,
with isolated xenosomes. Color yellowish-brown to brown. The aperture is circular. Measurements. Shell length 8.5–12.9 µm, shell width 11.5–14.0 µm, aperture diameter 7.0–11.0 µm. Habitat. On Typha and Phragmites australis in lakes and bogs, in lake sediments. Geographical distribution. Germany, Poland.
