Combinatorial and Giant Combinatorial Scattering
Description
This article substantiates the importance of introducing the topic “Raman and giant Raman scattering of light” into the course “Nanophysics”, taught to the students of the Faculty of Physics of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek. The essence of Raman scattering of light is explained from the point of view of quantum mechanics. Detailed information is given on the polarization, the dipole moment of molecules, and on the stokes and anti-stokes components of the spectrum of Raman scattering of light. The reason for the low intensity of the anti-stokes component of Raman scattering of light is given. New knowledge related to giant combinatorial scattering in nanomaterials will also be discussed.
