Type locality: No locality stated.
Label locality: ‘Philippines’.
Type material: Lectotype NHMUK 1874.11.10.5/1 and 2 paralectotypes NHMUK 1874.11.10.5/2-3 (J.E. Gray collection). Lectotype selection (Cernohorsky, 1969: 221).
Remarks: ‘ Suva Reef, Fiji Is.’ designated as type locality by Bratcher & Cernohorsky (1987: 84).
