Description
Terebra gotoensis Smith, 1879

Type locality: ‘ Station 1. Goto Islands in the Korean Channel, 33°19’N. lat., 129°7’E. long.; 50 fathoms’.
Label locality: ‘Goto Is., Japan’.
Collector: H.C. St. John, H.M.S. Sylvia.
Presented: J.G. Jeffreys.
Type material: Lectotype NHMUK 1878.11.7.19/1 and 1 paralectotype NHMUK 1878.11.7.19/2. Indirect lectotype selection by inference of holotype (Cernohorsky, 1969: 215).
