Limnophora natalensis Zielke 1971

Description

Limnophora natalensis Zielke, 1971a: 293.

Holotype female in NMSA (not seen).

Diagnosis. Scutum uniformly brown; dorsocentrals 1+3; fore tibia without a posterior seta; mid femur with 1 preapical seta; mid tibia with 1 posterior seta; lower katepisternal seta closer to the posterior one than to the anterior one; haltere yellow.

Notes. This runs to L. quadristriata Emden, 1951 at couplet 7 of Emden’s (1951) key, and differs from this and L. separanda Zielke, 1970 (which Zielke does not mention) by having only 1 pair of presutural dorsocentrals.
