Description

Oedemera (Oedemera) femorata (Scopoli, 1763)

Distribution in Iran. Golestan, Northern Khorasan (Švihla 1983), Guilan (Samin et al. 2015), Mazandaran (Švihla 1983; Modarres Awal 1997).

General distribution. Central Asia, Europe, Russia, South Caucasus, Turkey (Švihla 1999b, 2008a; Vázquez 2002; Kerimova & Huseynova 2014).

Chorotype. Turano-European.

Comments. Larvae unknown. Adult beetles are found in open habitats: grasslands, forest sites on various flowering plants, particularly Apiacaeae and Rubus, Achillea, Galium and Ranunculus (Kubisz 2006; Ferenca et al. 2013).
