Remarks. Brinkhurst (1966) merged Pelodrilus Beddard, 1891, Heterochaetella Yamaguchi, 1953 and Adenodrilus Cekanovskaya, 1959 with Haplotaxis Hoffmeister, 1843. Zicsi (1998a) argued for the resurrection of the genus Pelodrilus on the basis of its special Gondwanean distribution.
