Eutichurus ibiuna Bonaldo 1994: 125, figs 62̄64, 110, male holotype from Brazil, São Paulo, Ibiúna (29o39’20" S 47o13’32" W), IBSP 16268, not re-examined; Laborda & Simó 2015: 591, figs 1¯4.

Note. The females here attributed to E. ibiuna differ slightly from those described by Laborda & Simó (2015) from Uruguay, in the relative length of the anterior epigynal projections, longer in the specimens from Brazil. The epigynal median field of these specimens is longer than wide, while in the specimens from Uruguay it is nearly as long as wide (Figs 63¯65; Laborda & Simó 2014: fig. 1D, E). These differences are here considered to be intraspecific.
Distribution. South and Southwestern Brazil; Uruguay (Map 2).

Shimura leg.; Paraná: Pinhão, Usina Hidrelétrica Segredo [currently Usina Hidrelétrica Governador Ney Aminthas de Barros Braga, 25°47'36''S 52°6'43''W], Ribeirão Estreito, 1 female (MHCI), III.1992, R. Pinto da Rocha leg.
