Type locality: Tokyo fish market. Illustrations: Masuda et al., 1975:pl. 50, fig. A; Masuda et al., 1984:pl. 120C.
D: X, 15 to 17. A: III, 7. P: 15. GR: 28 or 29 (9 or 10 + 19). LL: 36 to 38.
Distribution: western Pacific and southeastern Indian Ocean.
