Plectranthias helenae Randall, 1980
Holotype: BPBM 13957, 60.5 mm SL, male.
Type locality: off north shore of Oahu Island (21°43'36"–21°40' N, 158°04'06"–158°07'18" W), Hawaiian Islands, depth 119 to 168 meters. Illustrations: Randall, 1980:132, fig. 10; Randall, 2007a:192, bottom fig.
D: X, 15 or 16 (usually 15). A: III, 6 or 7 (usually 7). P: 14. C: 17. GR: 5 or 6 + 11 or 12. LL: 29 or 30. CP: 14.
Distribution: western and central North Pacific: Taiwan, Johnston Atoll, Hawaiian Islands.
