Description
Microvelia mimula White, 1879
This species is common in the same type of environments as M. longipes and has a similar distribution, ranging from Cuba to Uruguay (Pérez-Gelabert & Floriano 2016). The first record from French Guiana is present here.
Material examined. FRENCH GUIANA: Cayenne —Macouria, Crique Patate, puddle, N 0 4.94416, W 0 52.48671, 10.III.2014, (A. Khila; M. E. Santos; A. J. J. Crumière): 2 macropterous males (IGFL).
