Niphargus foreli speziae Schellenberg, 1937b: 8 –10, fig. 4.— Barnard & Barnard, 1983: 691.

Niphargus speziae Schellenberg, 1936 (sic).— Karaman & Ruffo, 1986: 531.— Stoch, 1998: 230.

Syntypes: two males, deposited in the Naturkundemuseum Leipzig and in Berlin’s Museum für Naturkunde, respectively; type status fixed under Article 73.2 of the Code.
