FIGURE 5. A. Rachis bracts flattened, splitting apically and laterally, usually densely brown tomentose (L. centralis, Henderson 3512). B. Rachis bracts narrowly tubular, splitting apically, not or sparsely tomentose (L. hexasepala, Henderson 4132). C. Rachis bracts flattened, strongly ribbed, splitting apically and laterally and tattering along the ribs (L. dasyantha, Henderson 3773). D. Rachis bracts tubular, splitting apically, not densely tomentose (L. batoensis, Henderson 3818). E. Rachis bracts tubular, splitting apically and laterally, becoming fibrous at the apex, covered with scattered, reddish-brown hairs (L. calciphila, Henderson 3328). F. Rachis bracts flattened, splitting apically and laterally, almost woody and scarcely tomentose (L. nuichuaensis, Henderson 3643). G. Rachillae filiform, sparsely to moderately covered with short, mostly simple, brownish hairs (L. hexasepala, Henderson 4133). H. Rachillae filiform, densely covered with erect, branched, translucent hairs (L. manglaensis, Henderson 3878). I. Rachillae densely covered with wooly, much branched, reddish-brown hairs (L. centralis, Henderson 3512).
