Barydesmus tapichus (Chamberlin, 1941) new combination
Aymaresmus tapichus Chamberlin, 1941: 496, fig. 178–182 (original description).
Platyrhacus tapichus: Jeekel 1963: 90 (combination).
Types: ♂ holotype from Peru: Contayo; 20-XI-1926. Deposited at the AMNH, cat. no. 9490 (Chamberlin 1941), we could not confirm its current state.
Distribution: Dep. Loreto, Ecuador.
