Description

Barydesmus contayus (Chamberlin, 1941) new combination

Platyrrhacus contayus Chamberlin, 1941: 492, figs 118–123 (original description).

Types: ♂ holotype and ♀ allotype from Peru: Contayo; 20-XI-1926. Deposited at the AMNH, cat. no. 9474 (Chamberlin 1941), we could not confirm its current state.

Distribution: Northern Peru.
