Cilliba cassidea (Hermann, 1804)

• Original name: Notaspis cassideus Hermann, 1804.

Irish Records: Moss (Halbert, 1915); heather, pine shelter belt and pasture on bog (Longworth, 1973; Whelan, 1976); soil under Norway spruce (Heneghan, 1994; Heneghan & Bolger, 1996a, b, unpublished data); fungal sporocarp (O’Connell, 1994; O’Connell & Bolger, 1997a); moss on soil under oak, ash, Scots pine and Sitka spruce; soil under oak, Scots pine, Sitka spruce; moss on oak, ash and Scots pine; canopy of ash (Arroyo et al., 2010, 2012, 2013a, b); machair grassland and associated fore dunes (Arroyo & Bolger, 2011); nest of Lasius flavus and pasture (Arroyo et al., 2015); ash woodland (unpublished data); raised bog and Atlantic blanket bog (Wisdom, 2010; Wisdom et al., 2011).
