Description

Campylonotus vagans Spence Bate, 1888

Occurs in the southeastern Pacific from central Chile to Patagonia, (Boschi 1963a; Torti & Boschi 1973; Boschi et al. 1981, 1992; Arntz et al. 1999; Ceseña et al. 2016) and is also known from the southwestern Atlantic: Burdwood Bank, south off the Falklands (Takeda & Hatanaka 1984; Thatje et al. 2001; Lovrich et al. 2004) and South Georgia (Anosov 2012); benthic, 13– 320 m. Synonyms: Anchistiella hahni A. Milne-Edwards, 1891; Anchistiella hyadesi A. Milne-Edwards, 1891; Anchistiella seneuili A. Milne-Edwards, 1891.
