Description
Cobelura strandi (Breuning, 1943), comb. nov.
Type locality. Costa Rica, Cartago: Turrialba (USNM). Distribution. Costa Rica. Periestola strandi Breuning, 1943: 54; 1974: 45; Monné, M.A. & Giesbert, 1992: 252 (syn.); Monné, M.A., 2005b: 121 (cat.); Lingafelter et al., 2014: 325, figs. 161q, r (holotype).
Cobelura inornata Monné & Monné, 2017, syn. nov.
As a result of the above synonymy we propose the new combination: Cobelura strandi (Breuning, 1943) and the reinstatement and new combination of Cobelura curiosa (Monné & Martins, 1976).
Specimen examined. Costa Rica, Puntarenas: Monteverde, female, 4-9.I.1989, F.T. Hovore col. (Holotype of Cobelura inornata, CASC).
