Ilema phaeocraspis Hampson, 1901, Annals and Magazine of Natural History. Series 7, 8 (45): 182. Type locality: [Kenya] “Br. E. Africa, Uganda Railway, mile 478” (Syntypes: 5 ♀, in NHMUK, examined).
