Examined material. 10 sh. (MACN-In 40675).

Description. Shell height to 3.8 mm; turritelliform, moderately solid. Protoconch large, of 2.25 convex whorls, sculptured with about 24 strong, closely arranged, axial ribs per whorl. Teleoconch of up to 5 whorls, markedly convex in outline; last whorl comprising about 50% of total shell height. Suture impressed. Surface pale-brown; sculptured with 3 or 4 spiral cords and about 20 axial ribs on the first 1.5 teleoconch whorls, which produce small beads at their intersections; axial ribs become gradually less evident on subsequent whorls. Base delimited with a strong cord; 3 additional, narrower cords sometimes are present. Aperture ovate, interior pale-brown; columellar callus narrow; siphonal canal short, markedly oblique, wide.
