Diagnosis. This species can be easily distinguished from all known congeners by combination of following characters: strongly elongated frontal apophyses (arrows in Figs 14 C–D) and hooked frontal apophyses on male chelicerae (Figs 14 C–D), presence of sclerites distally on procursus (Figs 13 C–D), presence of large posterior lip medially on epigynum (arrow in Fig. 14A) and large nearly trapezoid pore plates (Fig. 14B).

Description. Male (holotype): Total length 2.66 (2.84 with clypeus), carapace 0.95 long, 1.22 wide, opisthosoma 1.71 long, 1.23 wide. Leg I: 27.42 (6.80 + 0.51 + 6.63 + 10.16 + 3.32), leg II: 18.71 (5.25 + 0.49 + 4.53 + 6.48 + 1.96), leg III: 14.26 (4.19 + 0.44 + 3.41 + 4.88 + 1.34), leg IV: 16.96 (5.03 + 0.45 + 4.13 + 6.13 + 1.22); tibia I L/d: 49. Habitus as in Figs 14 E–F. Carapace yellowish, with black margins and narrow, dark median line; sternum black. Legs brownish, but slightly whitish on distal parts of femora and tibiae, with distinct darker rings on subdistal parts of femora and on proximal and subdistal parts of tibiae. Opisthosoma yellowish, with large black spots. Distance PME-PME 0.18, diameter PME 0.14, distance PME-ALE 0.04, AME absent. Ocular area slightly elevated and separated from rest of carapace. Thoracic furrow shallow, but distinct. Clypeus unmodified. Sternum slightly wider than long (0.79/0.71). Chelicerae (Figs 14 C–D) with pair of small proximo-ectal apophyses, pair of small distal apophyses on ectal surface, pair of strong frontal apophyses (arrows in Figs 14 C–D) provided with scales each, and pair of long, hooked frontal apophyses (tips close together) provided with scales each. Pedipalps as in Figs 13 A–D; trochanter with retrolateral apophysis and small ventral apophysis; femur with retrolateral apophysis; patella large; procursus simple proximally but complex distally (Figs 13 C–D); bulb simple, no other projections except for embolus. Retrolateral trichobothria of tibia I at 9% proximally; legs with short vertical setae on metatarsi and tarsi, without spines and curved setae; tarsus I with 9 distinct pseudosegments.

Female (IZCAS-Ar39675): Similar to male, habitus as in Figs 14 G–H. Total length 2.56 (2.66 with clypeus), carapace 0.88 long, 0.95 wide, opisthosoma 1.68 long, 1.11 wide; tibia I: 5.38; tibia I L/d: 48. Distance PME-PME 0.14, diameter PME 0.13, distance PME-ALE 0.03. Sternum slightly wider than long (0.73/0.64). Epigynum (Fig. 14A) brown, with large posterior lip medially (arrow in Fig. 14A). Vulva (Fig. 14B) with slightly curved anterior arch and pair of large nearly trapezoid pore plates.

Variation: Tibia I in male paratypes (IZCAS-Ar39673–Ar39674, n=2): 6.32, 6.41. Tibia I in the other female paratypes (IZCAS-Ar39676–Ar39677, n=2): 4.08, 5.88.

Natural History. The species was found on its irregular web in the entrance zone of cave.

Distribution. China (Yunnan, type locality; Fig. 17).
