Apotrechus Brunner von Wattenwyl 1888

Description

Apotrechus Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1888

Comments: According to the new classification to this genus and the description of Bianigryllacris; Apotrechus only includes the Australian species to date: A. unicolor Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1888 (type species), A. illawarra Rentz, 1990, A. insolitus (synonym under K. ambulans by Tan &Wahab, 2018) and A. swinhoei (Griffini, 1909c). To identify this genus, see Rentz & John (1990). Be that as it may, this genus needs a revision to clarify the status of the little studied species.
