Description. General color pale yellow, sometimes with pinkish creamy pattern. Crown light yellowish, with two dark brown spots near coronal suture. Face ivory, with lora, genae and anteclypeus whitish, not clearly distinguishable; basal limb of antennae pale yellowish. Pronotum brownish, with two large irregular whitish patches medially, with a median irregular and two ivory patches posteriorly. Scutellum with pair of subtriangular dark brown patches basally, fused with irregular dark brown apical spot; scutellar suture well prominent. Forewing pale yellow with grayish brown zigzag oblique stripes; hindwing subhyaline. Second sternal apodeme in male with posterior lobes short, extended beyond second sternite.
Male genitalia. Pygofer lobe slightly longer than wide in lateral view, with a strong projection at ventral base; caudal margin slightly produced, reaching 2/3 of subgenital plate posteriorly; dorsal processes pointed apically, curved ventrally. Subgenital plate upcurved in lateral view, with 3 macrosetae on outer base and several microsetae at upper part. Style with inner apical process slender and sharply pointed, about twice as long as outer one. Connective U-shaped, without median anterior lobe. Aedeagal shaft long straight, bifurcated apically with pair of slender lateral processes extended distad; basal paired processes with short arm arising basally.
Length. male 2.6–2.8mm, female 2.8–3.0mm.

Distribution. Korea (North, Central, South), Vietnam.
Host plant. Humulus japonicas (cf. Choe, 1986; Kwon & Huh, 2001).
