Atylotus aegyptiacus Krober

Description

Atylotus aegyptiacus (Kröber), 1925

(Fig. 1)

Ochrops aegyptiacus Kröber, 1925b: 235.

Type locality. Kingi Mariout, Cleopatra (Egypt).

Diagnosis. Length. (female) body 12.2 mm, wing 10.5 mm.

Female: Whitish ashy-grey species; frons with sides not parallel, with a trace of upper callus; frontal index 2.64; eyes bare; abdomen without patterns.

Local distribution: Coastal strip.

Geographical distribution. Egypt.

Specimens examined. Cleopatra (Ramleh), 13.VII.1924 (1 female “cotype”) (PPDD).
