Description

Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770–1831), a post-Kantian idealistic German philosopher, published the book Science of Logic divided into three books, in 1812, 1813, and 1816 respectively. Hegel's book 3, The Doctrine of Concept, is a shift from the Objective Logic of Books 1 and 2, to Subjective Logic. Hegel's book Science of Logic is dealing with the topics of being, essence, and the concept. For Hegel, logic is not only a science of the form of our thoughts, logic is also a science of actual content.

The "Wissenschaft der Logik. Zweiter Band" by Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, translated as "Science of Logic, Volume Two," is the second part of Hegel's monumental work on logic. In this volume, Hegel continues his exploration of the dialectical development of thought, delving into concepts such as objective logic, the concept of being, essence, and the logical categories that form the foundation of his philosophical system. The work is characterized by Hegel's distinctive method of dialectical reasoning, wherein concepts unfold through a process of contradiction and resolution, ultimately leading to the development of his philosophical system known as absolute idealism. The "Science of Logic" is a pivotal text in Hegelian philosophy, laying the groundwork for his broader philosophical project.
