Description
Macrelmis thorpei Hinton, 1945
(Fig. 8)
Diagnosis: Body robust, length 3.00 mm; sublateral carinae on the pronotum poorly developed; surface of pronotum and elytra clothed with erect microscopic setae; entire surface of metasternal disk tomentose; hind tibiae with two apical tomentose fringes on the; paremeres much shorter than median lobe (Hinton 1945).
Distribution: Brazil (Amazonas). New record: Roraima State.
Material examined. Brazil, Roraima State, Alto Alegre municipality, Flona de Roraima, Igarapé Preto (P4) (02°56’18.05”N / 61°37’27.28”W), Pennsylvania trap, R. Boldrini, 18.XII.2017, two males (UFRR).
