Hydrochus bicarinatus Perkins 2019c: 23
Originally described from Venezuela, the following specimen records are from Ecuador. Images of the holotype habitus and male genitalia are given in Perkins (2019c).
Material examined (80): Ecuador: Los Rios, Babahoyo, (1°48’S, 79°32’W), 21.vi.1975, leg. Cohen, Langley, & Monnig (60 NMNH); Quevedo, (1°2’S, 79°28’W), 11.v.1975, leg. Spangler, et al. (2 NMNH); Quevedo (11 km S), 3.vii.1975, leg. Langley & Cohen (2 NMNH); Manabi, Bahia de Caraquez (35.6 km E), (0°40’20’’S, 80°5’9’’W), 10.v.1975, leg. P. J. Spangler (3 NMNH); Tosagua, 5.iii.1978, leg. J. J. Anderson (11 NMNH); Napo, ca. Shushufindi, (0°18’S, 76°25’W), 21.ix.1975, leg. Langley & Cohen (2 NMNH).
