Description

A series of Python functions for spatially interpolating the Canadian Forest Fire Weather Index (FWI) System variables from daily and hourly weather station data and for cross-validation to assess the error of the resulting surfaces. Also includes code to automatically select spatial interpolation methods at the daily level for sequential calculation of FWI metrics throughout the fire season.
