Modified Mikhailov stability criterion for continuous-time noncommensurate fractional-order systems - Matlab files

Description

Matlab-based simulation examples for the paper:

Stanisławski R., Modified Mikhailov stability criterion for continuous-time noncommensurate fractional-order systems, Journal of The Franklin Institute (2022).

Use of the package:

  • Download all files to the same directory.
  • Open the directory in the Matlab environment.
  • Execute example1.m, example2.m or example3.m files.

Files:

example1.m - Stability check for the system considered in Example 1 of the paper. 

example2.m - Stability check for the system considered in Example 2 of the paper. The example is considered two cases of the stable and unstable system.

example3.m - Stability check for the system considered in Example 3 of the paper. 

mikhailovCurve.m - Calculates Mikhailov curve based on characteristic pseudo-polynomial. Additional parameter returns the approximation of the change of argument of the Mikhailov curve.

simNonFrac.m - Simulation in the time domain of the (discretised) fractional-order system for the specific input signal.
