A series of mixed-ligand Ni^II cbelates formulated as [Ni(L/L'/L ")B] are formed in 1 : 1 : 1 stoichiometry where dianlon is L = o- anillinsemicarbazone (oVSC), L' = o-vanillintbiosemicarbazone (oVTSC) and L" =o-vanillin-4-pbenyltbiosemicarbazone (oVPTSC); B = 2,2'-bipyridine, 1,10-phenantbroline or pyridine.
