From density and viscosity values of binary mixtures of aniline with pentan-1-ol, hexan-1-ol, heptan-1-ol, octan-1-ol and decanI-ol, measured at 298.15, 303.15, 308.15 and 313.15 K, excess molar volumes (VE) and deviations in viscosity (∆ In η ) have been calculated. All mixtures show negative VE values in a narrow region corresponding to low concentration of aniline and positive VE values in a wide region corresponding to high concentration of aniline at all temperatures. ∆ In η values for all mixtures are negative over the whole composition range at all temperatures.
