Solid complexes of 7-(α-phenyl-α-o/m-chloroanilinomethyl)-8-quinolinol (POCAMQ/PMCAMQ) with Cu^II, Ni^II, Co^II, Zn^II, Mn^II Hg^II Cd^II and UO^V₂  have been prepared and characterised. They have also been tested for their antimicrobial activities.
