[Japanese name: Migiwa-hanekakushi-zoku]

Myllaena Erichson, 1837: 382 (original description; type species: Aleochara dubia Gravenhorst, 1806, designated by Shuckard 1839: 128).

Centroglossa Matthews, 1838:194 (original description; type species: Centroglossa conuroides Matthews, 1838 (= Aleochara dubia Gravenhorst, 1806), designated by Westwood 1838: 19).
