Wings were excised, flattened between a glass slide and cover slip, and photographed under a microscope using transmitted light ACylindrotoma distinctissima female BCylindrotoma distinctissima male CGnophomyia tristissima female DGnophomyia tristissima male. Scale bars: 1.0 mm.
