Description

Xeranthemum imbricatum Linnaeus, Plantae Rariores Africanae: 20. 1760.

Lectotype (Hilliard & Burtt in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 82: 250. 1981): [icon] " Elichrysum foliis Thymi incanis dense stipatum, floribus singularibus amplis patentibus " in Breyn, Prodr. Fasc. Rar. Pl.: 28, t. 18, f. 1. 1739.

Current name: Helichrysum aureum (Houtt.) Merr. (Asteraceae).
