Facile one-pot green chemical synthesis of 1,3,5-tri-(quinazolinyl/benzothiazolyl/ benzimidazolyl)-s-triazines in aqueous medium under microwaves

Reasonable pure 1,3,5-tri-(quinazolinyl/benzothiazolyl/benzimidazolyl)-s-triazines were synthesized in quantitative yield (94- . 96%) in 3-6 min in aqueous medium under microwaves, by reaction or various heterocyclic amines with aqueous formaldehyde. Results were also compared with conventional synthesis involving prolonged refluxing in dry toluene giving lower yields or required product.
