Type:— MALAY PENINSULA, “sent alive to KEW by Mr. E. Seimund in 1914 and flowered shortly after” August 1919. Seimund 337-14 (K000891078 http://specimens.kew.org/herbarium/ K000891078 photo!).

Notes:—In Vietnam, this species is presented by two varieties. The key for their identification is presented below.
