Effect of salt and solvents of the BZ reaction system containing tartaric acid and acetone as mixed organic substrate

For the oscillating system containing $Br{O}_3^{-}$ -Mn^II -tartaric acid and acetone in various add media, the effects of salts like
potassium nitrate and potassium sulfate and a representative non-aqueous solvent soluble in water like 1,4-dioxane have been
studied; the oscillatory characteristics ha\·e been computed. Mechanistic possibilities for the observed behavior have been
suggested.
