LOCALITÉ TYPE. — West Indies (Cramer 1775).
RÉPARTITION GÉOGRAPHIQUE. — Espèce répandue en Amérique centrale et du Sud (Lemaire 1980) et dans les Antilles.
DISTRIBUTION EN GUYANE. — Connu des trois zones biogéographiques.
HABITAT EN GUYANE. — Forêts primaire et secondaire, zones anthropisées.
