ENTRE ESPAÇOS: EXPOSIÇÕES VIRTUAIS E SEUS CONTEXTOS TÉCNICOS E POÉTICOS.

This article offers an overview of virtual art exhibition spaces, made with 360º photography or interactive 3D graphics. We start by exposing conceptual and technical key points that help us delimit the scope of these initiatives, such as the case of the virtual museums. Considering the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, which apparently have renewed and accelerated the interest of the Visual Arts field towards networked digital environments, we analyse recent cases of digitization of museums and galleries, the appearance of new digital spaces in virtual reality, and some hybrid cases. Finally, we comment on the different experiences of artistic appreciation in this fast changing scenario.

Este artigo oferece um panorama de espaços artístico-expositivos virtuais, como os realizados a partir de fotografias 360º e gráficos 3D navegáveis. Partiremos da exposição de marcos conceituais e técnicos que nos ajudem a delimitar o escopo dessas iniciativas e seus modos de produção, como no caso dos museus virtuais. Considerando o contexto da pandemia de Covid-19, que parece ter renovado e acelerado o interesse do campo das Artes Visuais em direção aos ambientes digitais em rede, também analisaremos recentes casos de digitalização de museus e galerias, o surgimento de espaços digitais inéditos em realidade virtual e casos híbridos. Por fim, comentaremos as diferentes experiências de fruição artística neste cenário de rápida transformação.
