EQUILÍBRIO PRÁXIS CIENTÍFICA E POIESIS ARTÍSTICA: EXPERIÊNCIAS PESSOAIS NA DOCUMENTAÇÃO E CONSERVAÇÃO DA ARTE COMPUTACIONAL.

Given the existence of the interdisciplinary area that was conventionally called "Art and Technology", the discussion about the contributions of scientific and artistic thoughts to the elaboration of human knowledge and its relations with the world is resumed. I argue here that it is the artist-researcher in the balance of this knowledge that manages to transform his practice and expand the theory in the area. This balance is also necessary for the documentation of the works of art of this expression line, in which case an attempt is made to arrive at a language common to both areas. In this communication, the result of my research for the doctorate, I intend to bring a general overview about the way of thinking and the experiences that I have personally had in the search for this balance and how I have tried to elaborate a form of documentation for them.

A discussão das contribuições do pensamento científico e do pensamento artístico na elaboração do Saber humano e de suas relações com o Mundo. Defendo aqui que é o artista-pesquisador no equilíbrio destes saberes que consegue transformar sua prática e expandir a teoria na área. Este equilíbrio também é necessário para a documentação das obras de arte desta linha de expressão, caso em que se tenta chegar a uma linguagem comum às duas áreas. Nesta comunicação, fruto de minha pesquisa para o doutorado, pretendo trazer um apanhado geral sobre a forma de pensamento e das experiências que pessoalmente tenho tido na busca deste equilíbrio e como tenho tentado elaborar uma forma de documentação para os mesmos.
