SWOT analysis of online assessments

Assessment is considered a major concern in education due to the obvious function it plays with assessing individual student development as well as in measuring teaching effectiveness. Today, with the rapid growth of online and blended learning in education and its implementation in many education systems after COVID 19, online assessment has created new issues specific to the assessment of distance student performance. This article proposes a Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) analysis of the assessment practices and models in higher education.
