Description

Leucotaraxis piniperda (Malloch, 1921: 351;

Leucopis), comb. nov.

Type locality: USA: Illinois (HT ♀, INHS).

This species is widespread in both eastern and western North America, attacking species of Adelges and Pineus infesting Abies, Picea, Pinus, and Tsuga (details provided above).
