Holotypus: PARAGUAY. Concepción: “Caballero-cue”, II.1908 -1909, Fiebrig, K. 5244 (G [G00094587]! [lf, fl]). Isotypi: (G [G00307098]! [lf, fl], K [K001050343]! [lf, fl], M [M0211667]! [lf, fl]).
The present holotype, Fiebrig 5244, is also the lectotype of B. marginatum subsp. meridionale and B. marginatum var. praecox.
