Argentina:

• 27°20′S, 55°03′W; 350 m asl: Misiones Province, Campo Viera, lichen on tree. Claps & Rossi (1988)

Record numbers: Argentina: 1; total: 1.

Remarks: Species known mainly from Africa with single reports from Asia, Central and South America (McInnes 1994a, see also comments to E. crassispinosus in Kaczmarek et al. 2014a). The latter record requires confirmation.
