Belonidae

Description

BELONIDAE

Tylosurus crocodilus crocodilus (Péron & Lesueur, 1821) , was recorded in the Mediterranean on the basis of a single specimen found stranded on a beach in Greek waters (Sinis, 2005). According to Corsini-Foka (2010), further investigation is needed to confirm the validity of this record.
