Remarks. Earlier known only from the type material from New Guinea and belongs to the group of species as defined under M. acris. Within this group, M. bicuspis is especially close to M. hamulata, but differs in the structure of parastylar lobe and other characters described by Hippa (2007: 31, fig 17).
