Moss. Liverw. St Helena: 25, 2012, nom. inval. ICN Art. 41.5; basionym not cited (see Wigginton 2012b). BASIONYM: Jungermannia microscypha Hook.f. et Taylor, London J. Bot. 4: 90, 1845 (see Hooker & Taylor 1845).
