Male. General body coloration pale yellow to pale green. Head in dorsal aspect anterior margin obtusely angulate, in facial aspect usually pale yellow to pale green, a transverse smoky black marking presents on frontoclypeus to vertex, transverse black pattern presents on crown. Face in lateral aspect nearly flat, ventral part of frontoclypeus slightly inflated, posterior margin of antennal ledge closer to apical margin of anteclypeus than apical margin of crown. Pronotum usually pale yellow to pale green, with dark stripes, first plural sclerite in lateral aspect almost diamond shape, without spots. Scutellum with dark smoky pattern between scutellar spots. Hind tibia in lateral aspect with small single spot each. Forewing usually pale brown. Tergal apodemes of 2nd abdominal base distinctly long, well developed, bifurcated. Sternal apodemes comparatively less developed, triangular, divided by wide subrectangular shape.

Male genitalia. Pygofer appendage narrow, before apical margin more or less bent inwards. Style narrow, widened from middle, tapered before apical margin, apical tooth slightly bent inwards. Aedeagus in lateral aspect 1.37 times wider than length, almost parallel margined, strongly curved before middle.

Female. Uniformly pale yellow to pale ocher in female, and comparatively brighter in male. Head in facial aspect usually pale yellow to pale green, transverse black pattern presents on crown. Face in lateral aspect bowed, center of eye closer to apical margin of crown than to apical margin of lorum. Pronotum usually pale yellow, with dark stripes, anterior margin less strongly produced than in male, first plural sclerite in lateral aspect almost diamond shaped, without spots. Scutellum without dark smoky pattern between scutellar spots. Hind tibia in lateral aspect without spot. Forewing usually pale yellow, nearby anterior margin with ocher patterns.

Female genitalia. Valvulae-II with 8 preapical teeth each.

Length. Male 4.5mm, female 4.7mm.

Material examined. 2 males, 1 female, Wolcheon-ri, Wondeok-eup, Samcheok-si, Gangwon-do province, Korea, 26.v.2012, Y.J. Kwon (KNU).

Distribution. Korea (new record: Central), Russia (Southern Siberia from Tyva to Trans-baikalia, Amur Oblast) Mongolia (North).

Host plant. Sailx gracilistyla, S. schwerinii, S. undensis.
